Doyle's Quick Picks
By John Doyle
This powerful, emotional doc follows Laurie Skreslet, the first Canadian to climb Mount Everest, back to the mountain to ruminate on the triumph of 1982, the deaths of other climbers on that expedition and the bitterness that ensued. Although the climb was celebrated by Canadians, this isn't and unadorned tribute. It's about memory, tragedy and regret.
